Went up to immigration in Phetchabun today to file TM 30 in person . I asked about having to file again if took a vacation inside Thailand stayed at a hotel then came back to the house . She said yes would have to

And this highlights exactly WHY we tell people to check with their immigration office because with 70+ offices inside the country yours may or may NOT require you to re-file a TM30 for in country travel..
