I have question

Does buying ticket from onwardticket. com

Or similar websitez that give you real flight for 2 days is good for applying for setv evisa

Because in documents that I need to provide there is flight booking confirmation

And evisa process may take 7 days or 5 or more so the ticket will not be working agter 3 days or 2 , and if I buy real ticket I may loose 1000$ if evisa not approved because ticket from Morocco to bangkok are not cheap

So what's the best solution

And if there any advice to give me so the evisa will approved

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the effectiveness of using a ticket from onwardticket.com for their eVisa application to Thailand due to the risk of losing money on a non-refundable flight. Suggestions from the community include using low-cost options like bus tickets to neighboring countries, emphasizing the importance of having a legitimate booking rather than a pending reservation. Community members advise looking for refundable tickets or confirming plans to leave via various land borders to enhance the chances of visa approval.

Should be good

The more you people cheat the system and try to stay in Thailand om multiple visa runs the worse it gets for everyone.
Wayne ********
Pay a little bit more for economy, premium, and buy a ticket that you can change the travel dates on or that has free cancellation
Terary **********
I believe it's 'onward travel' and not 'onward flight'. I used to buy bus tickets for that requirement.
Dave ********
Just put that you are leaving by car. Date UNKNOWN. Worked for me

Tell them you plan on doing a land border crossing to Laos or Malaysia or Myanmar or Cambodia and an onwards ticket is not necessary. Book a fully refundable or zero deposit hotel in either of those countries as further evidence.

Book a bus to Laos
Nico *************
Perhaps take out cancellation insurance as a supplement to your travel insurance.

be sure to read the fine print. The insurance policies have very limited coverage. And only under certain circumstances. I understand some policies have cancellations for any reason , but you have to read the fine print.
Tom ********
Just buy and pay for a $12 bus ticket to Laos from 12go.com

yes, real ticket is always better than BS ticket. I use a fully refundable ticket with Cebu Pacific. I'm sure that, one day, someone will get caught out on these "fake tickets "

these websites dont give u a flight confirmation.

it is a flight reservation. if they check your reservation number they can see that the payment is still pending, so they will know irs no booking.

for a visa application it is normally alright. but no quarante

I’ve done both visa exempt and with Visa. I was once pulled aside recently my last visit on visa exempt and they asked for onward ticket and I showed them my onward ticket and they let me go.

I’ve done this 3 times now applying with an evisa and an onward ticket and have had no issues at all. Just make sure you activate the ticket within 24-48 hours of your arrival and don’t forget TDAC.

@Jay ****
i dont want to apply any visa. but thanks for your advice.. i just said that onwardticket is only a booking reservation and airlines or immigration officers can check that and that the document u sent isnt a valid ticket. might not be an issue for a visa application
Mark ***********
@Marcels ********
just buy a fully refundable ticket

@Mark **********

@Marcels ********

which website please

@Lesia *********
the last one I did it with was Cebu Pacific. I have also done it with HK Express and others. It's not hard. Just read the terms and conditions and details to work out how much you get back. You can do this! It's easy
Nongnuch ********
@Marcels ********
actually, an "onwardticket" is just a reservation for a booking. It is not a reservation for a flight ticket. Most of these reservations are only valid between 24 and 48 hours
Marcels *********
@Nongnuch *******
yes thats what i said/wanted to say
Ian **********
@Marcels ********
I've used onwardticket.com many times. Immigration does not have the ability to check your booking. Even another airline cannot check your booking
Chuck **********
@Ian *********
You better think again! Wrong!
Ian **********
@Chuck *********
It's not wrong
Marcels *********
@Ian *********
of course they can. immigration and airlines have access for a world wide system to check bookinga. i already got denied with a reservation from onwardticket com and the lady showed me on the screeen where it said only reservation. also if u read on the ticket it only shows a reservation number. not a booking number
Ian **********
@Marcels ********
Not true. I used a flight booking that was one year old and changed the dates to obtain a visa. Immigration do not have access to flight booking systems
Marcels *********
@Ian *********
just continue like that 👍

but flight is active only for 2 days I WANT FOR A WEEK OR 10 DAYS BECAUSE THE VISA PROCESS TAKE LONGER
Wayne *********
@Lesia *********
just put the flight number and dates in they dont check no need to book at all. Never booked when I applied for any visa
Lesia **********

@Marcels ********
so the best option is book refundable ticket
Nongnuch ********
@Lesia *********
just give them your INTENDED flight dates in the E-visa application. Only if the embassy asks your for further documentation and a REAL ticket, you need to act. . .the E-visa site only asks for your plans, not for already booked tickets
Marcels *********
@Lesia *********
i wouldnt rely on any refundable offers. in most cases they wont refund u 100%. there is typically a service chsrge which is quite high. u could just buy a very cheap flight or try the onwars ticket and if they complain just buy a real ticket and update it. normally just for visa application they arent that strict. they are much more strict at the border controll when they give u the actual entry stamp. but all i say are just my personal assumptions..
