This might help someone. I am a Canadian passport holder in the Philippines. I applied for DTV digital nomad visa. Filled out the form and included my youtube channel and my English teacher profile from Cambly.
1st request for additional document. Last 3 months of finances. Not just a screen shot of my balance.
They also wanted to see my latest entry stamp to thr Philippines. I attached a photo and thr 30 renewal receipt
For proof of address I attached my airbnb receipt.
2nd time they requested proof funds again. looks like they only looked at the first page of the pdf that had e separate bank accounts)
This time I wrote a letter explaining over 700K THB between accounts that I have immediate access to. I also included my PayPal balance of 50K just in case
Tips: Provide multiple pdfs combined in 1 since it only allows you to upload 1 pdf.
Make it easy for them. I even converted thr CAD to THB
I got approved in 5 business days including the 2 request for documents

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Canadian passport holder shared their experience applying for the DTV (digital nomad visa) while in the Philippines. They outlined the documentation process, which included providing bank statements, proof of address via an Airbnb receipt, and a letter detailing their finances. The applicant faced two requests for additional documentation and was ultimately approved within 5 business days. They advised others to combine multiple documents into a single PDF for submission and to print the DTV approval email for check-in and immigration upon arriving in Thailand.
"Make it easy for them. " This can not be understated.

Thank You for your helpful report π
Congratulations πππ
PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.
That's what you should do... print it out.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight βοΈ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
yes i was very happy they didn't simply reject the application. This bis excellent news, considering Thailand is looking to reduce tourist visas back to 30 days.

Anonymous participant Yeah, very useful to have the DTV now with the potential changes to visa exemption. Manilla is a very friendly, helpful embassy, I almost applied there but went with Taipei due to its' same day approval.

Yes, and also a cover letter to explain as much details as possible regarding income. That definitely help speeding up the process.
