What difficulties might I face when applying for a DTV visa from KL with a new company?

Hi I was looking to apply in KL for DTV visa. I didn't realise it was really strict here. Anyway I have my own company with a professional detailed website and business registration. However the company is quite new so I don't have much evidence of invoices etc. I do have enough money to last many years though, so its not like I will run out of money. Am I going to have big problems due to this?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks guidance on applying for a DTV visa from Kuala Lumpur, acknowledging the strict regulations in Malaysia. They possess a newly registered company, a professional website, and sufficient financial resources but lack extensive documentation like invoices. Comments reveal that a minimum balance of 500,000 THB over several months is often required, and new businesses may need to provide income tax evidence to enhance credibility. Additionally, it is suggested that applying from other countries, such as Vietnam or Laos, might be easier due to stricter policies in KL.

Did you pay income taxes on your business for 2025, or any part of that year? Having that gives lots more credibility to it being a real business, even though just a start-up.

Do you have 6 months of 500k ThB in a bank account and 6 mths of accommodation booked in Thailand ? Being a new business should not be an issue

Ah well.. before 1 December I had that. However from then till 2nd Feb it was closer to 350 k. I sold my property on that date so after that date it was way beyond that. Its not like all the money from my property will suddenly disappear now, but I guess they have an arbitrary rule that it needs to be above that threshold for a few months at least?

every embassy is getting stricter. You need to qualify under the conditions or they will reject you. Simple. Whatever embassy you ate applying check the conditions before going there. You can do a search in here and can find other applicants process they used some are very detailed even how long they had to wait

They have got stricter with some applicants e,g on student visas in Chiang Mai but in general it is still a 'friendly' embassy. Laos, Jakarta Manilla are good options, Taipei too.

you state you don’t have much evidence, with invoices, etc. KL is one of the most difficult embassies, wanting things certified by your embassy, etc. they are going to ask for a lot of details (search this page for others) and it is going to be difficult
