The e-Visa website forces you to enter in proof of your flight and lodging information which

means you have to book your flight and accommodations before knowing if your application

for the visa will be approved. Is there a way around this? Thanks

The chances of being denied entrance on an e-visa correctly completed is virtually nil.

So no worries on your flight etc.

In the super remote chance denial of an e-visa: you still fly in visa-exempt anyway. So you still come.

More of a problem is people not getting the e- visa before flying in, so due to timing, they come in visa exempt and the E-VISA doesn't t Get used at all.

And getting denied an e-visa has NO effect on entering visa exempt, they are not connected.

Americans DONT apply/get visa on arrival, they're visa exempt for 30 days.

Yes but beware, your airline might also ask for proof of onward travel

Book free cancellation hotel then when ger visa cancel booking. If have all criteria u will get visa

If one is rejected for any reason the processing fee is non-refundable. 🙃

My American mate recently applied, had to upload the confirmed flight booking, then in another section, he uploaded his credit card receipt for the flight booking (leaving LOS in 57 days)

For accommodation, he uploaded the same confirmed booking PDF that he'd received directly from his serviced apartment twice, but paid in cash later after he'd arrived in country.

His single entry tourist visa was approved in 36 hours.

You can TRY entering a proposed itinerary with screencaps of a flight you might take and a hotel you may stay at.

They could very well reject that.

If you know you are coming to Thailand, why not wait until you have everything booked and then apply? The average time for an evisa to be approved is 3-7 days.

Also beware, at least in the US, they are requiring proof of onward travel(exiting Thailand within 60 days) for a Tourist Visa.
