SETV single entry tourist visa..?

I would like to avoid uncertainty and possible Denied entry via exempt stamp, is this website to apply just via my local government/Thai embassy site? (UK if anyone has the official link ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ)

Is it all done via online now then? I havenโ€™t needed a tourist visa since the days of going into the office in person.

I was planning to come for roughly an 8 week holiday and have my return flight and some flights to island trips if need to show a long with addresses.

I was last in bkk, December 2025.

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the application process for a SETV (Single Entry Tourist Visa) for Thailand, particularly emphasizing the use of the online eVisa application portal. Users shared a reliable link to the official eVisa site and emphasized the importance of having all necessary documents ready in digital format. There's a cautionary note about potential scrutiny by immigration if one has a history of frequent entries on visa-exempt stamps.

You mention you were last in BKK in Dec 2025. How many times did you come and go on visa exempt stamps in 2025? If you had multiple entries, that may appear like someone attempting to live long term in Thailand, the immigration officer can still deny entry. Just a heads up. It's not like you get a clean slate with the new calendar year.

thanks Jon. I was on work permits and had to leave a few times but nothing too serious. When I left they told me to get the Dtv or tourist visa next time so Iโ€™m ๐Ÿซก coz I donโ€™t want to cause any trouble and love ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ

We have used the link supplied by Todd many times. For single entry, multi entry and also Non-O visas. Itโ€™s easy to do just have all the required documents in pdf form to attach to your application. If they require more info they will request it. It normally takes up to 14 days to be approved and receive your email.

You do need to register and itโ€™s worth a test booking to check what documents you need.

This is the online eVisa website that all thai consulates in the world use to issue visas.

Apply online, pay online, wait for the email that has the PDF file that is your visa. Print it out and hand it along with your passport to the officer when you stamp in..
