TLDR : Answer Summary
The necessity of filing a TM30 upon returning to the same address in Thailand after travel can vary by immigration office. While some offices may not require it for domestic travel, others might ask for a re-registration every time you travel within Thailand. If you do not plan to interact with immigration services for extensions or other matters, you may not need to worry about the TM30. However, it's essential to stay informed based on your local immigration office's practices.
I’ve found that every time I traveled inside Thailand and stayed at a hotel, even for 2 nights in the same province, then when doing 90 days check in, immigration has required me to reregister address. But if been registered I’ve left the country and returned to the same address and then do not travel for 90 days it has not been a problem. That’s only my experience though the same thing happened to my tenants and I had to reregister them. Does your landlord have an agent? Because I set up my agent will do it for my tenants for 500 baht just before they do their 90 days.
That's completely dependent on your immigration office.
Most require you to file a new TM30 when you leave Thailand and return, even if it is to the same address.
Some don't care where you go inside of Thailand as long as you return to the same address, but some require you to file a new TM30 even after domestic travel.
You can just have your landlord create an online account and send you the login information and you can do it yourself.
