Hello, I have lived in Phuket about 20 months but have just recently moved to a house we are renting from some Thai friends. This is their first time to do the TM30 for tenants and they showed us today that it is still showing as Pending on the immigration site after more than a week since submitting. Is that normal? We thought usually it was a very straightforward and easy thing for a landlord to do. They are not sure what to do about it.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on the status of a TM30 submission, which has shown as 'Pending' for over a week. A comment suggests that a TM30 filing cannot be in a pending state as it updates the database immediately upon submission. It is advised to check for the submission record and generate proof within seven days, or submit a new TM30 if proof is not obtained.
The only thing that could potentially be pending is their registration for the TM30 system. A TM30 filing itself is never pending, because it's just a database. When a TM30 is submitted, it's already in the system. Each TM30 just replaces the previous one. There is no approval, there is no pending, it's just done.
Once a TM30 is submitted, you must go back to the home screen and then search for the submission. Once the result is pulled up, there is an "Export" button that is used to generate the pdf proof. This is only possible for 7 days after the TM30 is submitted, as after that it will not show up in search results, and a new TM30 would need to be submitted if proof was not obtained from the previous one.
