What should I do if my 90-day reporting is still pending online and do I need a TM30 form?

The second last time I did my 90-day reporting online, I did it on the 15th of September, the day before it was due, and it was approved the next day, on the 16th. The last time, on the 15th of this month, I applied again, but up until now, it is still pending. I phoned the hotline, and they told me to wait until Monday, and if it was still pending, to report in person. Has anyone else had this problem? If I do this, do I need a TM30 form filled out? We didn't have to do that when we arrived back after our last trip in January of this year. Our last TM30 was from August of 2019.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is asking for advice after their online 90-day reporting is still pending, despite having successfully submitted it on time previously. They are advised by a hotline to wait until Monday and report in person if it remains pending. Users in the comments share experiences of pending reports and suggest that it may be prudent to bring a TM30 form when reporting in person, as there have been changes in requirements regarding the TM30.

I think you should have went and filed a TM30 back in Jan when you came back into the country.

They changed the law that said if you were coming back to your primary address the one you use for your extensions and 90 day reporting you don't need to file an new TM30 but most offices are still making people do it

If it doesn't go thru online, definitely take the documents you'd need to file a TM30 when you go do your 90 day report at MTT just in case they say you need to do it again.

Good thing the TM30 room is out there too :)

False alarm. We did the one for January but not for a domestic trip. It isn't required now anyway. Sorry for the mistake. Thank you as always for your sound advice.

I posted this in another thread about this

I have two friends who have 90 day reports pending. One was submitted the date it was due ๐Ÿ˜ฎ (because you can do that online now) and the other was submitted last wed before the long holiday. Neither has been approved yet ๐Ÿ™

You can do a 90 day report in person up to 7 days after it's due date SO I'd say if it's getting close to a week over and it's not approved GO file one in person
