Hi all, thanks to Ellie Takei I managed to register with the online 90-day report system and file my TM47 about 6 days ago. Today is the deadline for filing my 90-day report and after checking the status on their website it still says Pending. Is this normal? Do I need to follow up?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully filed their 90-day report (TM47) online and noted it was still showing 'Pending' on the due date. Other commenters offered insights, indicating that it can be common for the status to remain pending until the due date, and suggested that it might be beneficial to report in person if there are issues after the deadline. Ultimately, the user later received approval via email, alleviating their concerns.

Looks like I jumped the gun and was worried for no reason, got the email just now that my 90-day report has been approved. So perhaps no matter how early you submit it, immigration will confirm on the day that your renewal is due.
With the 90 day reporting system you can never tell what's "normal".
You can report IN PERSON up to 7 days after the due date so if your 90 day report is still in pending status in a couple more days I'd just go apply in person.
Thanks I’ll check the website again over the next few days. Interestingly it shows my successful previous 90-day report on there, so it has worked in the past. Although I did that one using the app.
