Went to CW today to get my stamps transfered to my new passport. While there I asked if it was necessary to file a new TM30. The IO said that as long as I haven’t changed address, there was NO need to file a new TM30.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual reported that while transferring stamps to a new passport at the Thai immigration office, they were informed that a new TM30 form is not required if there has been no change of address. However, it is advised to confirm this with the local immigration office, as practices may vary.

Just curious, when you asked, did you ask the officer in the section where you got your stamps transferred

OR

did you ask about the TM30 requirement in Section B <- where they actually DO the TM30 processing?

That's for CW Thai immigration office in Bangkok. Not all follow the same advice.

For other's....

Best to check with your local Thai immigration office for their requirements.
