My wife has enrolled for Thai classes which requires a TM 30. The place we were staying at the time could not or would not help us. We have recently moved to a new place and the school says the TM 30 info they gave us is good.

However, the new place is a nightmare and we want to move again at the end of the month. Will we need to get a new TM 30 when we change places? It feels like nobody wants to give the information when you ask for it.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you move to a new address in Thailand, you will need to file a new TM 30 form since it is address-specific. This means that either you or your landlord must submit a new TM 30 to register your residency at the new location.

We are done, I messaged you about your situation
@Marc ******
check your message requests.

a TM30 is address specific so when you move you (or your land lord) will file a NEW TM30 saying you now stay at xxx address.

What's the law, shdnt the landlord be obliged to? Or avoiding tax

TECHNICALLY, a landlord must file a TM30 no later then 24 business hours after a person starts staying at a location. However, different immigration offices have different policies about the TM30. The person who almost always gets fined is the person who is renting the place.

So will we need to provide a new TM 30 to immigration after the ED visa is approved if we move?

@Marc ******
You need to get TM30 receipt when you move the place you are staying. That TM30 receipt would be required for your wife's Non-ED visa and the following extensions.

The property owner should do the TM30, and they will give you a copy :)
