Looking for some guidance. We are booking a 3 week trip end of this year and have been talking to a local tour operator. He is going to arrange hotels internal flights and trips out from various locations. We have a driver/guide with us for about 17 days and the vehicle has air con. Trip includes 5 days in Bangkok with 4 days of tours then flight to ching mai for 5 nights with 3 days of tours 1 night in Chiang rai with 2 days of tours then flight to Phuket for 8 nights staying at Bang Tao beach. This costs £6200. Does this seem reasonable
Thanks for any comment first trip to Thailand

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on whether £6200 is a reasonable cost for a 3-week trip to Thailand, which includes guided tours, internal flights, and accommodations arranged by a local tour operator. The trip covers major locations like Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket. Community members stress the importance of considering the number of travelers and price variations in hotels and activities. Many suggest that booking hotels and activities independently might yield better prices and recommendations.
First of all it may give better answer in a group about travelling i Thailand.
This group is primary about visa.
It will be much to expensive to have a driver like that, much better to use the app drivers.
And you are also paying to much for hotels etc. by letting someone else book them.
The best prices for tours and activity’s, you will get at the destination, when you can shop around and buy locally, and that will also make it possibel to take the weather into account, when booking 1-2 days ahead.
Seems expensive yo me. Does it include visiting various sites? I always book hotels myself as there are so many varieties and choices. Helpful to have a tour guide though
so many price levels for hotels, flight and trips, impossible to give feedback without details. also how many people. "end of this year" is probably peak season as well. you could research this yourself by simulating bookings.
