From your experience in the south (koh phangan is where i'll be) when is rainy season?

Google says october-november, but i have seen people already saying it has been raining loads. I dont mind either way, just want to know how much rainproof stuff to pack😆

rainy season in Thailand comes and goes.

Where I am in chainart province, does not really rain during the day nearly all was on a night.
