Going to do my 2nd extension based on marriage.

Questions:

1. How long prior to the current extension's due date can I start the process?

2. Does my spouse need to be present. She's currently starting a new job and unable to take time away from work.

Tried to find answers online or in this group but there wasn't any clear answer.

Thank you for your advices.

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can begin the process of extending your marriage visa in Thailand 30 to 45 days prior to the current extension's expiration date. It is important for both you and your spouse to be present during the application process, as well as during any potential house visits by immigration.

Depending on office used it is 30 or 45 days before until the permitted up to date stamped in your passport.

Your spouse need to be present at the application and both must be present when the Immigration decide to make a house visit.

I did read reports they did, I did see comments that it will never happen. I did not know where the OP hangs out, that is why I only mentioned when the office decide.
