TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are on a Non-O visa for marriage in Thailand, you are required to report to immigration every 90 days as long as you remain in the country. This requirement continues indefinitely; even if you remain in Thailand for years, you must still do the 90-day report every three months. You can report in person, online, or by mail, making the process more convenient.

I wouldn't bother doing a 90 day if you're concerned.
If you get caught, you get a free room in the Pattaya Hilton....No, not THAT Hilton, silly. The one with steel bars and the locks are on the OUTSIDE your room.

Currently you can stop doing your 90 day report when,
1. You are here for less than 90 days, ie. you leave the country.
2. You take your final journey up the wat chimney.

TWICE a year, first visit it to apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay, which goes 30 days under consideration. You visit again to get the remaining 11 months stamped in your passport.
IF you refer to the 90 day reports, only ONCE, after that you can do it faster than asking this question on Facebook,

You will be required to report to immigration whenever you spend 90 consecutive days in Thailand, say if you never leave Thailand for 10 years you will need to report every 90 days just because you are on a Non O visa based on marriage to a Thai National you are not exempt from reporting.

If you're in Bangkok do it by mail. Very easy and less time-consuming as a personal visit

You have to go every 90 days until you move away from Thailand, or until you die.
