Hi, I have a question about the "Notification for staying in TH for 90 days" via email. This week will be my first time (Married Visa for 1 year, Located in Bangkok). I have tried to do it via Email and it got rejected. ("The notification of staying in the Kingdom over 90 days is not found"). I just wonder if for the first time it has to be done in person? Any advice is welcome.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the process for the 90-day reporting requirement for their Married Visa in Thailand. They faced an issue when attempting to report via email, receiving a rejection notice. Comments from other users clarified that first-time 90-day reports typically need to be done in person, though some have had success doing it online on their first attempt. Overall, it seems the process may vary, and trying online again is recommended.

Thank you all for your expertise and comments. I guess I will try it again online. Otherwise I just have to go there in person and hopefully afterwards I can do it online.

I did my first 90 day report (I live in Hua Hin) online successfully recently.

that used to be the case BUT more and more people are saying they were able to do their 1st 90 day report online ๐Ÿ˜ฎ some can't but some can, dunno why it isn't either no one can use online the first time or everyone can but it's hit or miss.

If it is the first time 90 days reporting, you have to do it in person.Then you can do it online.

You mean you tried to do it online and got the email saying it was rejected?

Did you apply from 2 weeks before down until the due date? <- that is the "window of opportunity" to do an online report.

You tried at this link right?

and how do you know that you have a 90 day report due?

You say you have a "marriage visa for one year" does that mean you got a 90 day Non-O visa and then did a year extension INSIDE the country at the immigration office (when they would have put a tiny paper in your passport telling you the date of your first 90 day report)

OR

Do you have a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa you got from a thai consulate in another country? <- in which case you only get a 90 day stamp and never do 90 day reporting.

Hi
@Tod ********
, thanks for your reply. I entered Thailand last year (2022) in August with a Non-O Visa. Once I was here I applied for a one year Thai Wife Visa and also the Re-Entry Permit. Both got accepted and is valid until 01.11.23. I also got a note in my passport that I have to make a notification on 07.01. if I stay for over 90 days in the kingdom. This is what i tried to do(tm47) and it got rejected. I was within the two weeks window. So I just wonder if there might be some reason for it (e.g. first time for this notification,...). Any advice or experience is welcome :)

@Daniel ********
you can try it again no issues, I had to apply 3 times (getting rejected each time) before finally the 4th time i got the address exactly as they had it in their system

Make sure you get the address exact (and it has to be the same address you applied for the extension with and the one that has the TM30 filed)

I'd apply again, see if it gets rejected. Sounds like you're doing everything right. (as long as you haven't left/returned to the country during the time you got the extension and 90 day report notice paper and now).

Keep in mind you have up to 7 days AFTER the actual due date to file a report in person so if you have a due date of the 7th you have until the 14th to go in person and apply (actually friday the 13th as the 14th is Saturday ๐Ÿ™‚ )

Try online again, see what happens

@Daniel ********
, did you travel out of Thailand after you get a 1-year extension?

this is the paper Chaengwattana puts in your passport when you get your first yearly extension and tells you when your first 90 day report is due
