I am applying for my first one year extension on a Non-O VISA based on retirement at Chiang Mai immigration. How many document sets are required? Do I need to submit another map to my residence? Both these items are unclear to me in the document lists they gave me when I visited.
I know I have seen this addressed in this group before but I didn’t come up with it searching topics. Feel free to PM me rather then post if redundant.
Thanks for all your admin efforts in this group! It’s the most factual up to date and functional group I belong to on FB. It has saved me from a lot of hassles these past few years.
Cheers!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a one-year extension on a Non-O VISA based on retirement in Chiang Mai, you are required to submit one complete set of all the necessary documents. Additionally, a map illustrating your residence is also needed, which can be a simple hand-drawn representation. Each application is treated as new, necessitating a fresh set of documents.

thanks for the heads up. Went in this morning and had my retirement extension in hand by 9:30! Had my map drawn on blank paper and they didn’t ask me to redraw it which was unexpected. They also didn’t want a copy of my rental contract just the TM30 from my passport. Always an adventure in there getting it right but for the first time ever all trended in my favor.
