My first renewal of retirement extension is coming up in late August and it's my intention to apply for extension when I am down to the last 30 days (next week).
Having visited the Chonburi Immigration Office in Jomtien I have a list of the requirements but I have one question which I'm hoping the forum can answer that requires specific knowledge of the procedure at Jomtien -
Must I provide a map of my condo rental address? This is not mentioned in the list of requirements.
Thanks all for your help.
Regards, Steve H

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to renew their retirement extension and is inquiring whether a map of their condo rental address is necessary for the application process at the Jomtien Immigration Office. Various forum members responded, sharing their experiences; many indicated that a map is not typically required, though it may be advisable to prepare one just in case. Some mentioned that a Google Maps printout is generally acceptable, but others suggested a hand-drawn map could also be useful. Overall, the consensus leans towards the belief that a map is not mandatory for the renewal process.

This is one of those things where even if you don’t know the answer you can do with almost no effort and cost. Just do it. Bring it with you. If they ask for it then you have it. If they don’t ask for it they you aren’t out anything.
Usually Google maps print out is accepted but some offices like a hand drawn map. Another tip is to get immigration officer to write down banking requirements in Thai so the bank know exactly what to give you in the way of statements, bank book copy and ketter.
