Hi all,
Iโll be going to Thailand in October and returning home in February next year. I have a multiple non immigrant o visa. If I get a retirement visa whilst in Thailand and a re entry permit before I leave, how long is it valid for? I will return to Thailand around October 2023.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a multiple-entry Non-O visa and plans to apply for a retirement visa while in Thailand. A comment explains that with the Non-O visa, the user will be stamped in for 90 days upon entry. They can apply for a one-year extension within the last 30 days of that stamp, with the extension being valid for a year from the expiration of the original 90-day stamp. The re-entry permit will match the extension's validity.
