I'm a little confused how the stamps work with a USA passport.
I entered Thailand on July 29 and left to Cambodia on Aug 5th until August 10th when I entered Thailand again. I left to go back to the USA on August 29th.
Does the first stamp from July 29-Aug 5th use up 30 days? Or can i just deduct the total days allowed in the country to find out how much time I have left?
I ask because I was looking to go back this winter. Hopefully my question makes sense.
Also, does the days allowed in the country per year reset on Dec 31st or is it a year from the first day you enter the country?
Thanks for any info.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on how time spent in Thailand is calculated with a USA passport, particularly focusing on whether the stamp received upon first entry counts against the allowed stay duration and how the resetting of allowed stay days works related to the year.
