TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, holding a USA passport, has visited Thailand three times within the year, totaling 45 days, and plans to return for 14 days in September and 20 days in November. They inquire whether a visa is required for their upcoming visits. Community comments clarify that the user will receive a 60-day visa exemption stamp upon arrival, which can be extended by an additional 30 days at local immigration, and that entering Thailand multiple times within the year generally does not pose issues as long as they adhere to the visa exemption rules.

Easy to explain; -just come, show your passport in the immigration and receive a 60 days free stamp which also can be extended with additional 30 days at your local immigration.

80 days in total within one year shouldn’t be any issues at all as long as you’re entitled to visa exemption.

Don't worry, years ago I entered Thailand by air, land & sea probably between 8 & 10 times on visa exempt everytime. That was a long time ago, so things may of changed a bit, but immigration are quite accomodating as long as your not abusing the system, which from your comment you aren't.

You'll receive a 60 day visa exempt stamp upon arrival. It's not a visa, just a free entry stamp.
