Hello! I am wanting to extend my 6 month METV for myself and 1 year old daughter. Our final stamp expires on the 24 December so want to get it done soon I suppose! Is it just a matter of filling out the form I have seen online and heading to immigration ? Do they need to see an onward ticket for an extension? Is there any chance we could be denied (have never had an extension before) thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your 6-month METV for yourself and your 1-year-old daughter, you should fill out the TM7 form and prepare a copy of your passport, entry stamp, visa, a passport-sized photo, proof of a filed TM30, and 1,900 baht for the processing fee. It is generally not necessary to show an onward travel ticket, and there is a very low chance of being denied for the extension. You can visit the immigration office anytime before the expiration of your current visa stamp.

You can go anytime now, bring your passport and make sure you have a TM30 filed where you stay.

Depends on the office you use, but generally you’ll need to fill out the TM7 form (for extensions), a copy of your passport, a copy of your entry stamp, a copy of your visa, a passport sized photo a filed TM30 and 1,900 baht.

You won’t need to show an onward travel ticket and there’s an almost zero chance of being denied.

What is the ENDING DATE of the METV multiple entry tourist visa as it appears when it was ORIGINALLY ISSUED ?

METV are issued and valid for 6 months from the date it was issued.

Look at the METV stamp in your passport or on the Evisa email you received when approved...

....what is the ending date ?
