Hi everyone. I have a 6 month METV from the UK. I flew out of Thailand after 60 days, then extended at the immigration office in Chiang Mai, then flew out after 60 days thus extending my visa to a total of 8 months.
I’m not sure with recent immigration updates if I can extend once more at the immigration office?
Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community member has a 6-month Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) from the UK, stayed for a total of 8 months, and inquired about further extension eligibility due to recent immigration updates. Responses suggest that while the METV has expired, it's possible to obtain a 30-day extension on the last 60-day entry for a fee of 1900 baht, but the extent of extensions allowed may vary by local immigration office.
Basically you can extend for 30 days your last entry admitted until stamp at immigration office. It depends on your local immigration office, some offices give you only one extension (by same reason) per visa.
if it’s not expired as of now, do an out/in just prior to the expiration date and that will give you 60 more days in which if you choose you can extend for 30 days at the immigration office for ฿1,900....
