Hi everyone. I have a 6 month METV from the UK. I flew out of Thailand after 60 days, then extended at the immigration office in Chiang Mai, then flew out after 60 days thus extending my visa to a total of 8 months.

I’m not sure with recent immigration updates if I can extend once more at the immigration office?

ANY 60 day entry on a tourist visa can be extended for an additional 30 days at the immigration office for 1900baht.

So if you are on your last 60 day entry (the one that takes you to 8 months of stay) you CAN go get a 30 day extension as well.

Basically you can extend for 30 days your last entry admitted until stamp at immigration office. It depends on your local immigration office, some offices give you only one extension (by same reason) per visa.

It’s expired I’m guessing if you want another 6 month METV ...Fly to Perth Australia to get another 6 month METV...

if it’s not expired as of now, do an out/in just prior to the expiration date and that will give you 60 more days in which if you choose you can extend for 30 days at the immigration office for ฿1,900....
