Hi all, I'm on a METV, and I'm away on holiday and back here before it expires. My plans have changed slightly so I wanted to stay an additional 15 days here before returning home. My query is can I extend the last stamp 30 days even if the original METV visa has expired? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster inquired if they could extend their stay in Thailand for an additional 15 days on a METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa) after the visa had expired. Community responses confirmed that while the expiry date pertains only to the entry deadline, it is still possible to get a 30-day extension at the immigration office, provided they meet all requirements. However, concerns were raised regarding scrutiny of the entry history during re-entry into the country.

You're not going to have any problem getting a 30 day extension on your last entry of the METV at the immigration office for 1900baht.

The problem you MAY have is actually getting back into the country with your entry history. :O As

pointed out (in a comment I accidentally deleted sorry :( ) immigrations is looking much more closely at your previous entry history when you stamp in to the country

Of course you can extend it another 30 days. Forget the panick freaks

Yes, you can. The expiry date on the visa is only relevant to the date you must ENTER the country by, it is not a date you have to leave by.
