Hi guys I am hoping to get some help/advice.

My boyfriend wants to do a Muay Thai Visa in Pattaya or Phuket.

He is in Australia now and wants to come here as soon as possible.

The immigration in Australia offers student visas so he would like to choose Muay Thai as his course.

We can’t find anything about a list of Muay Thai gyms that offer the training through an education visa.

We don’t want to pay for the agency as it is costly and it is only a few hundred dollars for him to do it from Australia.

Does anyone know this process or have any experience doing the Muay Thai Visa?

Thanks for your help in advance. Please comment or inbox me 😊

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks advice on obtaining a Muay Thai Visa for training in Thailand, specifically from Australia. The user's boyfriend wishes to enroll in Muay Thai as his course for an education visa. While there is uncertainty about obtaining such a visa directly from Australia, some comments suggest this can be done in Thailand by entering visa exempt and converting the visa with the necessary documentation from a chosen gym. Recommendations for contacting specific gyms like Tiger Muay Thai and Fairtex for more information are also included.

These visas are intended for educational purposes only aren't they. Not to learn a fighting skill in my opinion.

Fairtex for Muay Thai training is big internationally for MMA fighters that want to add Muay Thai to their fighting arsenal. Contact them in Phuket. They will know every detail about what he needs to do.

my cousin trained with them in Phuket 9 years ago, for MMA. They've got a standard three month package specifically designed for those already in good shape.

my friends son got one for a year from Singapore embassy, trained at Tiger when it used to be in Rawai so quite a few years ago

Very much doubt you’ll be able to get a ED visa for Muay Thai in Aus. Your BF can enter visa exempt and convert in country with paperwork from the school he’s chosen.
