What are the options for applying for a DTV Visa in Thailand, especially when retired and without an income?

I'm currently living in Thailand (on the student visa. It expires in Marchl.

I'd like to apply for the DTV.

-I meet the financial requirement with my savings

-I'm retired (under 50)

-I don't have a business

-I don't work remotely

-I don't have an income

What options do you suggest I look into for acquiring the DTV?

I see some applying for MEDICAL / DENTAL. It's possible to get the 5 year DTV based on a medical appt, is that correct??

I thank you all for your support on this request.

I'll likely apply in JANUARY. Maybe through Vietnam.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is looking to transition from a student visa to a DTV visa, meeting the financial requirements due to savings, despite being under 50 and without an income or business. They inquire about options for acquiring a DTV, including the possibility of using medical appointments for a long-term visa. Comments suggest that a formal treatment plan may be necessary for a medical-based DTV application, while alternatives like applying through Muay Thai are mentioned as cost-effective options. Additionally, it's advised to apply from Vietnam.

You'll likely need more than just an appointment, rather an agreed treatment plan signed off by doctor and hospital
