Got my years extension based on marriage this week. I would like to thank all the contributors to this group, especially Tod.
I took the advice and went to Jomtien Immigration a few weeks before applying and they gave me information of exactly what documents I required. On the day of applying it was 2 hours in the morning, then had lunch and 2 hours in the afternoon, went very smoothly.

Check the current stamp in your passport, I'm not sure if you got the 30 day under consideration stamp this week OR were you "closing the loop" on the u/c stamp you got when you applied for the year extension earlier?
The reason I'm asking is year extensions based on marriage to a thai national are not granted on the spot, you apply, pay 1900baht get a 30 day under consideration stamp and then you go back when that runs out to get the year extension inked in
