TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on what to do about their missing landing card (TM6) after sending their passport to Bangkok for tax clearance related to their work permit. Community responses suggest visiting the local immigration office, where procedures may vary by location. Some members share their experiences, which include making a police report to obtain a replacement TM6, while others mention that certain offices may simply look it up and fill in the details. It is also noted that having a copy of the TM6 may be necessary for visa extensions and re-entry permits.

you're right it's NOT that close of a visa question but you got your answer. GO to your immigration office and see what they need to give you a new TM6.

My experience (twice in two different offices) was I had to make a police report - simple to do - and take that along to immigration they then looked up my tm6 number and wrote it on a blank tm6.

Lost my tm6 before, CM just looked up on computer and wrote it in pencil in passport . As RL say every office maybe different

Depends on your immigration office, some want to see a police report before they give a replacement others just replace them.

Garry Stocks if you have nothing to do at Immigration till the day you leave, it is an alternative, problem is you need a copy of the card for Extensions of Stay, Re-Entry Permits etc.

Lost mine also. They, jomtien, said just fill one out at airport when I leave.

I don't have experience there, but walk in ask and they will answer with words to tell you what to do, The time that foreigners walked in and get shot did stop, it seems bad for tourism.
