Good morning. Anyone know the link to inform immigration of a visitor staying. Have to inform immigration within 24 hours of them arriving. Bit of a drive to immigration. Thankyou and Merry Xmas/New Year

TLDR : Answer Summary
To comply with Thai immigration regulations, the house owner must report any guest's arrival within 24 hours using the TM30 registration form. The owner should fill out details from their blue housebook (tabian baan) on the TM30 website provided by Thai immigration (http://tm30.immigration.go.th). After registering, the immigration office will issue a login name and passport to the house owner for future guest registrations. There are some leniencies noted, as some landlords may file reports with previous or the same day's dates.

Dont worry about the 24 hours, whenever, however you file it just put the previous or same days date on it as my landlord always does. 3 weeks after I arrived last time.

the house owner can register the accomodation (i.e. the house or the condo) on the TM30 website of the Thai Immigration. Details from the housebook will need to be filed and the name of the owner of the premises. Once the registration process has gone through, Immigration will issue a Login-Name and a passport to the house owner. This will enable the house owner to file new guests using the Online TM30 system, each time shortly after their arrival of a guest

well, the house owner who holds the blue housebook (tabian baan) must report a guest within 24 hours upon arrival on Immigration. The registration is called "TM30" after the form which will be need to be filled out.

can't you or the owner do it on line now. As long as the owner gives consent.

Merry Christmas

theoretically you can do it on Immigration by yourself, but the house owner needs to hand you a signed copy of his housebook and signed copies of both sides of his Thai ID card, signed in blue ink. . Alternatively, the house owner previously registers the accomodation in the TM30 Online system, he will receive a login name and a password and from hence on can register his guests online

so can it work this way.

if the owner shares the password you could enter the details into the online system on behalf of the owner.

This way the owner would not be inconvenienced every time you go away for a week end????

correct. If your landlord agrees, you can report yourself back every time when you arrive back from abroad. Does your Immigration want you to report every time when you return to the same address after travelling inside Thailand? This you must ask "your" Immigration. Some of them are lenient and some of the actually will allow you ignoring the reporting when return from abroad to the very same address. The system is Immigration-specific
