I held an A-O long Stay VISA, and got the annual Extensions (and Multiple re-entry Stamps)

In February , while in the US, My RV was broken into, and my documents were stolen.

(Passport, and more)

Proper police reports were filed.

I have since received a New Passport.

and I returned to Thailand, but entered as VISA Exempt.

Good until next Month.

Is there a method to get my information stamped into my New Passport?

I do have good Photo copies of the original PP with the Extensions, and Multiple re-Entry Stamps.

I report in Surat Thani.

(US Citizen)

I have NOT applied for the E-VISA,

But have prepared all of the required documentation (just in case)

Have any of you dealt with a similar predicament?

Thanks in Advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster experienced a theft in the US where their passport and visa documents were stolen. They are seeking advice on how to transfer their visa information and extensions to a new passport, noting that they have copies of their original passport and an entry into Thailand on a visa exemption. A comment suggests visiting the immigration office where the original visa was issued to inquire about retrieving the extension information and notes the importance of documentation like police reports.

All you can do is go to the immigration office that issued your extension to see if they can retrieve your extension and move them to your new passport.

All they can say in the worst case is no they cannot, then you need to start from scratch (but you may be able to start with in-country Non-O retirement).

Get all photos of the stolen passport printed, ID page, visa, extension and all related stamp pages. If you can show the number of your extension, the possibility for them to retrieve your extension might get better. If the original Non-OA was eVisa, get that one printed.

Be sure to bring a police report from your home country, too.

, You need to get the latest handout for requirements for in-country Non-O retirement at the Surat Thani office when you go there.

Here is the general requirements list that Immigration Bureau HQ issues. But Surat Thani might have their own list.

, That's what you need to talk to the immigration office about. Usually, they don't bother to search through all the data, just say no. But you seem to have enough information. No downside to asking.

In case it's possible, the fee would vary by the office. It's like transferring stamps. Most offices transfer stamps for free, some offices charge you some kind of service fee.
