I recently obtained a 90 day Non - Immigrant ED Visa . Since then, I've had to renew my American Passport. I have a few questions.

What do I do when it comes time to apply for my first 90 day extension? I have read on here that immigration will not transfer the sticker, only the stamps. Do I just bring both passports and the letter from the US embassy to facilitate the transfer of the visa between the old and new passports?

Do I need to do anything with the new passport at immigration once it arrives? My address has been registered since the day I entered under the old passport. Do I need to re-register it under the new passport number? I have no plans to travel outside of Thailand during my studies.

I just looked at the volunteer website, but it seems that only if you have already an Extension of Stay you need to transfer it to new passport. There is no mention of register address again if you get a new passport. You can call them for more information 090-1707360
