__Subject: Visa Transfer After Passport Loss__

Hello, wonderful members of this helpful group,

I recently extended my Non-B visa, which is valid until August 2024. Unfortunately, I've encountered the misfortune of losing both my passport and wallet.

In the coming days, I plan to obtain a police report and acquire a new passport. I have a question that I hope someone can shed light on:

Is it possible to transfer the same visa Num to my new passport, or will the old one be invalidated and have to for a new visa? I would be incredibly grateful if those with experience could share their insights here.

Thank you in advance!

Go file the police report immediately. Don't wait a couple of days.

Once you receive your new passport you will take it and the police report to your local immigration office.

They will put correct stamp in your new PP based on the information in the system.
