Hello everyone 

I have a 1 year extension of stay ( expire Feb 2024) based on marriage with multi rentery permit. I renewed my passport recently while visiting my home country

How could I transfer the extension of stay to my new passport? Could I simply enter thailand as a tourist  then go to the local immigration officer to get the old visa on the new passport?

you do this;

You show BOTH passports when you stamp IN to thailand, (the old passport even though cancelled still has a valid Extension and Re-entry permit in it for thailand)

They will stamp you in on the new passport until Feb 2024, and then you go to your immigration office and get the extension stamp and re-entry permit moved to the new passport
