American passport here with non-b, visa expires 20 june

But I lost the damn thing ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Im getting my temporary through the US embassy tomorrow.

As my visa ends on 20 June, do I need to go to immigration first?

Or can I just leave the country and deal with everything at the airport?

(Note this is the visa itself, NOT an extension of stay)

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, an American holding a non-B visa set to expire on June 20, lost their passport and is inquiring whether they should go to immigration first or can handle everything at the airport when leaving Thailand. A commenter advises that it is necessary to visit immigration to get their visa stamp transferred to the new temporary passport, and to bring a police report regarding the lost passport.

You need to go to immigration and get your stamp transferred to your new temporary passport. Take the police report of your old passport loss with you

There is no immigration office at the airport. There is only passport control. If you show up with no visa/extension and no entry stamp you'll likely spend some time in the holding cells while they sort everything out and potentially send you back to your immigration office.
