TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about whether they can extend their visa without having to visit immigration in person. Responses indicate that while it's generally required to be present for visa extensions, certain agents can facilitate this process for a fee, particularly for tourist visas. It is emphasized that specific documentation, like the TM7 form and proof of TM30 registration, is necessary. However, the feasibility of using an agent may depend on the type of visa, and some users share personal experiences regarding the time taken at immigration offices.

What the fuck is wrong with you?

You still have to go and stand outside the immigration doors for a photo
The fact you’d seen some doesn’t mean you have to if using an agent. For many agents it’s a completely “hands off” experience. You send in your passport and a few weeks later you get it back with the stamp.
Never seen an immigration office. Life is better that way 😃

An agent might be able to do this for you, but at a cost. 8-10k perhaps. Book an appointment, pay 1,900 baht and be on your way in less than an hour at most offices. Your call obviously.
thank you what do I need for documents? Because I don’t have any hotel booking for the 30 extension days or something else similar any advice most appreciated

Matthias Seiler TM7 form is the most time consuming document you will need filled out. Use a BLUE pen. Download it from immigration website and fill it out before you come. You will most likely need the TM30 screen shot from your current hotel or residence so make sure you get it from the property owner. Can been a screen shot on your phone. Other than that bring your passport and the cash. Come an hour early before your booked appointment time and ask the immigration office for the required forms - they will likely depending on which office you are at give you additional declaration forms to sign. You then need to go to the photocopy shop next to the immigration office and ask them to print out everything else you need. They will know what to photocopy out of your passport. You also can get the required photo printed by them. They should also have a glue stick to glue the photo to your TM7 form. Tip don’t use too much glue to avoid ink smudges going through the paper. Have I missed anything out? No accomodation receipts needed for tourist extension - just your matching TM30 address on your TM7 form. Go back to immigration and tell the officers at the appropriate counter that you have an appointment when your allocated time starts.

Without turning up at the Immigration, your only option is to leave Thailand, before the date stamped in your passport.
There will only be a group to post in, if the questions get answered in the thread, and not by pm.
If in pattaya not like it used to be took about 45 minutes 2 weeks ago

Just normal tourist visa extension thank you

You can pay an agent to do this for you, but NOT for every category of extension! For extensions of SOME visa types, you must visit the Immigration in person

Matthias Seiler and since you didn't tell us for what type of visa you need an extension, I cannot give you the correct reply
Matthias Seiler yes, if you have proof of completed TM30 registration printed out and handed over to the agent along with your passport and signed TM forms with blue ink, you can
