TLDR : Answer Summary
If you arrive in Thailand without a visa from the UK, you will receive a 60-day stamp on arrival instead of the previously assumed 30 days. After this period, you can apply for a 30-day extension at your local immigration office, which will cost approximately 1,900 baht, allowing a total stay of up to 90 days in Thailand.

When you research on Google it still says 30 so I understand your confusing and when I booked my flight with an agent they also told me it's 30

you use UK govt website for more accuracy. Not Google, which shows too many bits of outdated and old info.

@Lynn****
how many times can someone come on a holiday if under 30 days?

@Hannah *****************
you can come on holiday as often as you want, it's up to the immigration officer if they think you're trying to live here using visa exempt.

oh ok thank you

they seem to be cracking down on people who use visa exempt entries of 60 days plus 30 day extensions to stay long term.

there are visas and there are visa exempt ( no visa) entries for many countries. The 60 days visa exempt can be extended by 30 days to give 90 days in country.

Other way around you will get a 60 day visa exempt stamp, and you will be able to get another 30 days extension at your local immigration office for 1,900 baht, giving you a total of 90 days inside of Thailand.

You get 60 days stamp on arrival and can then extend another 30 days.
