*edited with an extra question:
Do me and my son have to go in person? Or can my partner and his employer take our passports and cancel them on our behalf?
I’ve heard both from different people.
We leave June 24th and his employer seems to think we’ll be ok to cancel tomorrow in advance? Is this correct?

Does anyone know if I need to go to immigration to cancel my non o (dependent of a foreigner) visa before we leave the country?
My partner needs to go to immigration tomorrow to cancel his visa for when we leave at the end of this month but no one seems to know if me and my son need to cancel ours or if they will be canceled automatically as they are connected to his visa.
(We have multiple reentry visas)
*edited to say I meant reentry permit not visa.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is seeking clarification about the process of canceling their non-O dependent visa and whether they and their son need to do it in person or if their partner and his employer can handle it on their behalf. They mention needing to leave Thailand on June 24th and are unsure about the cancellation process, especially given that their partner's employer believes cancellations can be done in advance.
