NON-O CANCELATION AT CHAENG WATTANA.
I just wanted to share my experience on cancelling Non-O extension based on my wife work permit. I turn up with cancelation letter from my wife employer including all the paper work + copies for all pages from mine and her passport and work permit. All this was good but not enough. You must bring along your wife original work permit and passport and marriage certificate.
no chance for cancelation without the originals.
The immigration officer Khun Teow at counter N2 suggested that if I didn't want to go back to get the originals, I could still fly out and get my new visa in KL (am applying for non-B) on the way back I should have asked immigration officer not to use my non-O re-entry permit and then once back in Thailand I could go to cancel my non-O extension before applying to extend my non-B.
Sounded too sloppy and just decided to spend 2 more hours in the taxi and went back home and get the originals.
