Does renewing a retirement visa reset the due date for the next 90-day report in Thailand?

Does a visa renewal (Retirement) reset the time clock on the due date of your next 90 day report?

Let's say my next 90 day report is due in November, but I renew my O visa in October. Would I still need to do the 90-day report in November or would it be pushed to January?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Renewing a Retirement visa (Non-O) in Thailand does not reset the due date for your subsequent 90-day report. The date for your next report is determined by your initial visa extension, regardless of when you renew. For example, if your next report is due in November and you renew in October, you will still be required to report in November. Some immigration offices may align the report date with the extension date, but this is not standard practice.

It's 90 continuous days in Thailand.

Immigration office specific. My immigration office matches my 90 day report with the expiry of my extension so the last one is normally less than 90 days. An easy way to tell is if they put a slip in your passport when getting your extension with the date your next extension is due. If they didn't then its 90 days from your last report

No. Your initial extension sets the date for your 90 days report. But subsequent ones are irrelevant to your due date.

If you extend on the 20th of the month and your next due date for reporting is the 30th then that’s when it’s due.

You may find the immigration officer will do both at the same time IF you ask them but it’s not a given.
