Hey. Currently have a elite visa. If i leave the kingdom before my 90 day report, which also needs a tm30 form. Does this then reset the 90 day report back to 0 when re-entering the kingdom, and thus also tm30 form? Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original question concerns whether leaving Thailand before the 90-day report resets the reporting period upon re-entry. The consensus in the comments indicates that leaving does not reset the 90-day report. Instead, upon re-entering the kingdom, the individual will need to start counting the 90 days anew from the date of re-entry. Additionally, a TM30 form is required to report the new address to immigration, and it can be processed either by the landlord or by the individual with the necessary documentation.

, okay, in Bangkok you can file your own TM30 without anything from your land lord but a lease with your name and the address of where you live on it.

They aren't gonna ask anything about previous addresses etc when you file BUT if you go more than 24 hours after you get back into the country you'll get dinged with an 800baht fine.

You're an elite card holder and if you show them the elite visa at chaengwattana you will get jumped in the queue (meaning you won't wait with the other many HUNDREDS of people to file a TM30. You'll be out in just a few minutes.

And depending on which immigration office, that may not get you of the fact of needing to do the previous TM30 reporting. I got caught on that one ๐Ÿ˜‰

you do not have to leave the country to change address.

Ok, Thank you. Well, its looking likely that my current landlord will not do my tm30. So, if i leave the kingdom before my 90 day report and then re-enter registered at a new address (new landlord) that will do my tm30, will this be ok? Not sure?

you would have TM 30 report with current (new) departure card number. you will be fine.

@Ellie ******
, what about this first landlord (current) not filing the tm30? Is that history on file, and accountable to myself?

Im not in bkk yet. I return there next week. Im just trying to think of possible solutions for the tm30. Im hoping they will scrap it before my 90 days is up.

If your new landlord report your TM 30, it will be totally fine.

Andy Barnes if it helps you can register the TM30 yourself if the landlord has done it initially. All you need is your rental contract with copy of their tabian baan and ID and your and copy of your passport details page, TM6 and entry stamp/visa

If not done at all add a power of attorney from your landlord

Note: Chon Buri Immigration

NO, it does not. a TM30 form is needed to report that a foreigner arrived within 24 hours at an address, this can not be reset, you arrived or you did not arrive. If you come back from abroad a new address registration has to be done. Now the other form and procedure. You report yourself that you are 90 days inside Thailand, if you are less than 90 days inside Thailand you can not report that you are 90 days inside Thailand. When you come back into Thailand the day of arrival is day nr 1 and you start counting yourself towards day number 90.
