My 90 day report is coming up but 4 days after I leave the country. Is there a need to do my 90 day report or will it be reset on departure/ arrival back? I will of course make sure I have a reentry permit.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is inquiring about the requirement to complete their 90-day report for their visa in Thailand, which is due shortly before their departure from the country. The discussion clarifies that if they leave the country on day 94 of their stay, they must complete the 90-day report before leaving. Upon re-entering Thailand, the count will reset.

I am told the first time one needs to appear in person so that police updates the online system. Second time onwards it can be online or by post - correct me if wrong

It takes less than 5 minutes on-line, I will not tell your boss. Enjoy the day off.

Sorry I wrote this badly. I leave on what I guess would be day 94.

If you leave on day 86 you are not 90 days inside the country and do not have to make a report. Your day of return will be day number 1 and the count resets.
