TLDR : Answer Summary
As of December 2023, UK citizens can enter Thailand under the 60-day visa exemption policy, which allows for a stay of 60 days without obtaining a visa in advance. It is important to note that travelers may need to present proof of onward travel when entering the country. There is no visa on arrival option for UK citizens; the exemption is marked as a stamp in the passport valid for 60 days.

You won’t get a visa on arrival. That’s for some other countries. You will get a visa-exempt (no visa) stamp in your passport good for 60 days. The day you arrive, even if it’s 11:30pm, is Day 1.
