I am here for info regarding travel visa on arrival from India.

I bought flexifare ticket which is reschedulable. I am a first timer on International travel. To get visa, confirmed return ticket within 15 days of arrival needs to be shown.

Can my flexifare ticket be a cause of rejection?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Indian nationals can obtain a visa on arrival (VOA) in Thailand without requiring confirmation of an onward ticket for entry; however, airlines may still insist on proof of onward travel. Flexifare tickets are accepted and do not pose a risk of rejection, as they allow for changes and do not require travelers to adhere to the originally presented exit date.

No, flexible or refundable tickets are allowed. You have to possess a ticket to get VOA or visa exemption, but you are not required to use it. You can also extend your visa, which would be pointless had it been required to stick with your originally presented exit date.

Thank you for the confirmation. I was checking on Thai embassy's website. It said confirmed ticket required, floating ticket not allowed. So I was worried.

that is unfortunately incorrect.

Unfortunately embassies do get things wrong every now and then, despite that it is their purpose to inform travelers of these rules. But they are not under the same ministry as immigrations, and the adequacy of information sharing is, well, let's say there is room for improvement.

Currently Indian nationals get a visa exempt arrival stamp (if they haven’t bought a tourist or other visa prior to travel).

Immigration generally won’t require an onward ticket for those entries but your airline may insist on a ticket out within the initial time allowed, regardless that you could get an extension.

The flexifare ticket for both inward and outward journey has been booked together. I think I will get the ticket for onward journey during check in. Don't know about return ticket.
