We are looking to go to Malaysia and apply for the dtv. We are a family of 5 I have our marriage certificate and birth certificates but we can’t find a clear answer. If my husband has the 500k baht in his bank is that accepted for us all or do I need to show the funds in my account also?
Do we have to show this for each child also or only the main applicant? Thankyou

TLDR : Answer Summary
The main applicant (husband) for the DTV visa in Malaysia needs to show a bank statement with 500,000 THB, which can cover the whole family. Individual bank statements for the wife and children are not necessary as long as the main applicant's account meets the requirement. Supporting documents like marriage and birth certificates must also be provided. It's advisable to apply for the dependent visas together or after the main applicant's approval.
You husband has to apply on his own then once accepted he can apply for the whole family doing it in Malaysia is not a good idea many applicants have been refused they don’t have to give a reason why
The sponsorship letter should detail that you/husband, as the primary visa holder, will be financially responsible for your kids and confirm their status as your dependents. You need to mention your DTV visa number in the letter.
elaborating a bit on Andy's reply yes you'll have to show proof of parental rights/birth certificates over the dependents just like you will show proof of being a legal spouse for your spouse's application
Have you checked posts on Malaysia? It is the strictest embassy to give approval for a DTV. It is likely you will need to show the 500K in both you and your husband's account. The children can be supported via both finances.
