I’m an American citizen will be applying for my DTV Visa here in Cambodia. My question is is a statement or a letter from the bank showing my current balance would that be significant enough for the application? Also, how does it work if you’re married and have kids

TLDR : Answer Summary
An American citizen applying for a DTV Visa in Cambodia needs to provide bank statements revealing a minimum balance of 500,000 THB for the application. If married with children, they can apply as dependents once the DTV Visa is obtained. It's also suggested to ensure readiness of local embassies for processing.

You may want to select a different embassy. It is likely that they have limited staff right now

Anonymous participant - Sounds good. Who did you speak with? The embassy told all Thai nationals to leave Cambodia a week and a half ago and there have been no updates since. Did the ambassador return?

Your spouse and kids can apply as dependents once you get your DTV. You need to show 3-6 months of bank statements with a final balance of 500K THB.
