Do I need to show THB 500,000 in my account for each dependent when applying for a DTV from Hanoi?

Based on our experience assisting applicants, the general guideline is THB 500,000 is required per dependent.

That means in your case you should be able to show a total of THB 2,000,000 . The overall case needs to make sense for the approval officer on how you will support yourself and your family during your time in Thailand.

That said, having some regular kind of income would significantly strengthen your case. Other factors that affect the approval would also be your nationality and the country of application.

A friend of mine has just got his 2 daughters' dependent DTV visas issued (on a Saturday), although he had "only" 750K in the bank. He applied in Europe, and it probably depends a lot on the embassy and the overall "strength" of the profile though (nationality, income, etc.).

I applied last week for my wife . We had 1 million im almost positive is 500k per dependent . As per the children i cannot confirm because we dont have 🙏

I know that the folks at HCMC answer e-mails. Maybe you can try to ask Hanoi by e-mail. If they don't answer, give HCMC a try.
