I'm applying for a DTV visa , and have a dependent. When I apply for my daughter's application, do I need to show financial proof of 500k for her application? Or just proof that she is a dependent (birth certificate).

Any advice is helpful in regards to having a dependent on a DTV visa~ thanks so much!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a DTV visa with a dependent, whether you need to show financial proof of 500,000 THB for your daughter depends on the specific consulate's requirements. Some consulates may require proof of funds for dependents as well, while others may only ask for a document proving the relationship, such as a birth certificate. It is recommended to apply and see if additional documents are requested. For the application process, first, get your DTV visa approved before applying for your dependent's visa.

That seems to be consulate specific

SOME consulates require proof the dependent also has 500K, while others do not require proof of funds for dependents, just proof of relationship.

All you can do is apply and see if they ask for additional documents or not

Remember now that all the thai consulates use the eVisa online web-portal. you apply for your DTV first, get it approved then apply for dependent DTV's (you need your DTV to show why a dependent would qualify for theirs)
