TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus is that travelers entering Thailand on a 60-day visa are not typically required to present a hotel reservation upon entry. While it may occasionally be requested as a reason to deny entry, particularly if there are past issues, most responses indicate that it's not a common requirement. Some users suggest booking a cheap hotel for peace of mind but indicate that proper attire and appearing prepared should suffice.

Boka en natt på något billigt hotell och säg att du skall resa runt i Thailand om dom frågar räcker det det.

Only ever asked for if they are looking for a reason to deny you entry. If you don't have any past issues with Thailand, then it should not be asked for.
