Do I need to show a booked itinerary to enter Thailand with a Visa Exemption?

Hello everyone!

Now with the VISA exemption it seems like the process for a month stay in Thailand will be way easier.

My question is,

Do I still need to show a booked itinerary when I arrive to Thailand? I would much rather have the flexibility to move as I see fit once I’m there instead of having to pay a reservation from my country.

I do have my outgoing flight, so it would only be a matter of the accommodation

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster inquires whether a booked itinerary is necessary upon arrival in Thailand now that the Visa Exemption allows for a month-long stay. Comments suggest that while a booked itinerary is not mandatory, having the address of intended initial accommodations is advisable. Additionally, Swedish passport holders receive a 60-day stamp and can extend for 30 days at a local immigration office.

IF asked...Just show the address of where you will be staying the first few days from your arrival date in Thailand.

As a Swedish passport holder you will be stamped in for 60 days on arrival as Visa Exempt Entry.

You can get a 30 day extension of stay at your local Thai Immigration office for 1900 Thai baht. Be sure to have a TM30 address registration on file with Thai Immigration.
